Barnesville-Lamar County Utilities
Electricity: Electricity can be reliably served by the City of Barnesville,
Southern Rivers Energy or Georgia Power Company. Customers who service is in excess of 900kw may choose their power supplier.
Water: Water is provided by the City of Barnesville. The design capacity of all the water treatment plants in use is 6 million gallons per day with the present daily water production being 1.7 million gallons per day, leaving 4.3 mgd available for new customers. An 8" water main serves the industrial park.
Lamar County Water and Sewer Authority: Water can also be provided by the Lamar County Water and Sewer Authority in the unincorporated areas of Lamar County, which are not currently being served by the City of Barnesville or the City of Milner.
Natural Gas: Natural gas is provided by Atlanta Gas Light.
Rail: The industrial park currently has not rail served sites, however, the Meadow Railway Industrial Park is served by Norfolk Southern Railway. Meadow Railway is located just south of the industrial park off Old Milner
Road.
