Message From the President/CEO

Let me be the first to welcome you to Barnesville-Lamar County. I happen to think it is the best town in the world, but I may be a partial advocate considering it is my hometown. Barnesville-Lamar County is rich in history and is the quaint small town that you would expect to see in the south. We have a flourishing community with citizens who work every day to make our town stand out among so many others.

I became the President/CEO of the Barnesville-Lamar County Chamber of Commerce in September 2007 and it has been the best move of my life. I get to work each and every day promoting the town I love most. We have excellent, energetic business owners, supportive community leaders, and motivated citizens who all help make my job easy. It is easy because we are all working for the same cause. The cause is to put our best foot forward every day and to make this community thrive.
